If you provide us with personal information (your name,  address, telephone, fax, or email address), or have done so in the past, via our websites, our publications or surveys, we may use it to send you updates on our latest products and promotions, or to contact you so that we may learn more about our customers. We may also share this information with other companies that offer products or services to the service industry which could be of interest to you. If you do not want companies other than LDE to contact you, you can choose to "opt out," and LDE will respect your wishes.

Information you supply in transactions

If you have supplied us with personal and financial information, (such as your credit card or bank details) in a transaction, e.g. purchased a product or service, we will use this information in the normal conduct of our business relationship with you.

Contact information from order forms, either on our website or in printed form, is used to send orders. Financial information is used to bill you for the products and services you order from us.

LDE also maintains intermediary relationships with credit card and shipping companies and as part of our business process provides these companies with customer information in order to conduct business.

Published Information

LDE will not use name and/or business details collected through the normal course of business in our directory publications without your consent. We will contact you directly to ask for your consent.

If you or another person/organization has provided us with your business details for inclusion in our Directory publications, then this information is now in the public domain and LDE has no control over the privacy practices of third parties accessing this information. We may contact you from time-to-time to ensure that the information in a particular directory is accurate.

Personal information that you provide when submitting business details for one of our publications will not be published. It is used for administrative purposes only.

Opt out

If you do not want companies other than LDE to contact you, you can choose to "opt out”. All data collection forms on LDE’s website, and printed order forms produced after 31/03/2001, include an “opt out”.

Please note, however, that if you provide LDE with inconsistent privacy preferences (for example, by indicating on one occasion that third parties may contact you and indicating on another occasion that they may not), or if your name and/or business details appear in one or more of our publications, LDE cannot guarantee that your most recent privacy preference will be honored.

Changes to this statement

LDE's privacy statement is subject to change at any time. LDE will post changes to this statement on our websites 30 days prior to implementing any major changes.
